An escape room, also known as an escape game, is a 60-minute adventure in which a team of players cooperatively work together to discover clues, solve puzzles, complete challenges against the clock whilst taking part in an immersive story.

Once each element is solved, you’ll receive a key, code or clue which will help you with the next one. The challenge is to complete the entire game within the fastest time possible however no one is ever locked in a room!

We close our bookings online 12 hours before the time slot to allow us to plan staff. If the time you want to book looks unavailable, we might STILL have a space! To find out, please call us on 07856 342 226. or email info@puzzalogical.co.uk.

We are closed Monday’s and Tuesday’s unless it is school holidays or a bank holiday. 

We usually operate five games a day at the following times: 10am to 10pm

Accessibility varies across our games; we do have a lift and accessible bathrooms. Please note that you will need to have someone with you to assist you for any clues at heights.

No, none of our puzzles involve physical challenges, apart from Prison Break where two players needs to be able to climb up and kneel down.

You can! The environment is perfectly safe to play in if you’re pregnant.

We use a small amount of strobe lighting, we have never had a problem before but you are welcome to come take a look at the lighting. 

You will not be locked in and will be free to leave at any time as all of our rooms have emergency exit buttons. If you are still unsure, then please get in touch and you’d be very welcome to come and have a look at the game area in advance of booking. You can also mention this to your games master who can leave the door slightly open or arrange to let you have a break in the waiting room if you need to.

Our escape rooms are suitable for everyone over 10 years old and 8 years old for our VR Escape Rooms or Laserbots. We have families, friends, young or old, work teams, stag do’s, hen parties, and everyone in between. You can rest assured, the games can be enjoyed by all.

You can participate with adult supervision from 10 years old for Escape Room and 8 years old for VR Escape Room and Laserbots and from 16 without an adult. If you have younger children, you might want to book them in at the on-site creche, where your youngster will enjoy playtime with Ashleigh from Ashleigh’s Little Angels , while you enjoy quality time with your older children. ALL PLAYER UNDER 16 MUST HAVE AN ADULT OF 18 YEARS OF AGE PLAYING THE GAME WITH THEM, if you do not have an adult in your group you will not be allowed to play and no refund will be given. No need to pay for supervising adult and they can be the 7th player. 

You can add players up to the time of your game. You must let us know if your numbers reduce 24 hours before your game. We can issue you with a voucher for the players not attending. 

For the comfort and enjoyment of our players, our games are designed to work for 2 to 6 players or 5 for our VR Arena. If you’re looking to book for more people, you’ll need to book more than one game. Our games are normally staggered, but we can arrange to start them all at the same time for a large group.

We can arrange to run multiple rooms at the same time. We don’t have a party room as we have changed it into an escape room.

No, each room is limited to one group at a time.

Each experience usually lasts between 60 and 80 minutes, but how long it takes to complete the room is totally up to you and your team. There is a 5 minute brief at the start, up to 60 minutes of gameplay time within the room itself, and a short 5 minute debrief and photo opportunity at the end.

Our VR Escape rooms game run for 45 minutes

Your Games Master will be monitoring your progress and are ready to give as many helpful hints and clues if you ever need them.

All you need is your brain and your teammates, everything else is in the room.

Please wear comfortable, casual clothing and flat shoes.

Please arrive 20 minutes before your timeslot, and head down to the basement waiting room where you will be welcomed, and your host will check you and brief you ahead of your game. Arriving early will avoid your game time from being cut short as we are very busy.

Re-booking an empty slot at short notice is tough! For this reason, like a theatre or concert ticket, we do not offer refunds for cancelled bookings within 24 hours prior to the time of the original booking.  No-shows are also non-refundable.

Re-scheduling your booking may be possible, but only at the discretion of the management.   In all circumstances, your request to re-schedule a booking must be made 24 hours prior to the time of the original booking. If for whatever reason, we are unable to accommodate your booking on an alternative date, or if you give us less than 24 hours’ notice of your request to reschedule a booking, you will not be due a refund.

If you need to amend the number of players, please give us 24 hours’ notice prior to the time of your game. If any of your team are a no show, refunds are not given 

We do. You will be unable to take phones, bags or coats into the rooms, so you will be provided with a locker for these items at reception.

Puzzalogical escape rooms are situated near the town centre that has a pub and restaurants.

Please note: We want you to have fun, but we do have a very strict policy when it comes to inebriated participants and recommend doing most of your drinking after, rather than before or during the game. If we suspect anyone has had too much to drink, we will ask them to leave the room and no refund will be given. Your minds will need to be at their sharpest if you want to succeed!
